Juan Habichuela (nieto) y Granada Doaba
Granada Doaba is the story of 16 immigrant musicians from around the world who fell in love with Granada, Spain.
Everyone except for Juan Habichuela (nieto), a native (greatgreatgrand) son of Granada’s gypsy neighborhood, El Sacromente. Part of the 5th generation of flamenco guitarists in the illustrious Habichuela family history, the 20 year-old phenom is the grandson (nieto) of legendary guitarist Juan Habichuela, winner of the 2008 Spanish Grammy award for best Flamenco album.
Juan collaborated with Gnawledge on 2 songs for Granada Doaba: a traditional introduction “Flamencología” and an electronic fusion “La Lengua del Rio”
